Jorge Nagel was born in Caracas, Venezuela on June 20th, 1977. He graduated from High School in July 2005 from Washington Academy. He enrolled at Universidad Central de Venezuela where he pursued a major in mechanical engineering before transferring, in fall 2000, to Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. In fall 2003 he earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in biomedical and mechanical engineering, and a minor in mathematics. He expects to earn the degree of Master of Science in mechanical engineering in spring 2006.
