moblog:tech Ltd.
Lori Faye Fischler is a co-founder and director of moblog:tech Ltd., a leading provider of mobile blogging, or moblogging, community technology. Moblogging (mobile blogging) is the process of posting pictures, text and video from a mobile camera phone to a website for others to see, comment on and rate. These websites are called mobile blogs or 'moblogs'. moblog:tech's products serve both the consumer and business markets: enabling individuals to readily and easily share their mobile content; and providing businesses and organisations with a means to engage and connect consumers with their brand and products on web and mobile.
Prior to founding moblog:tech, Lori was a digital strategy consultant for web and mobile projects in the UK and USA, and previously served in London as General Manager, Corporate Services - Europe, for Register.com. Prior to coming to London, Lori served in New York as Co-General Manager of Global Web Services, and General Manager of Register.com's Global Partner Network. Lori joined Register.com in June 2000 following the acquisition of her first software start-up, Inabox, Inc., which developed a leading website and community building software known as WebSiteNOW(tm), which was licensed to ISPs, portals, and telcos. Prior to joining Inabox, Lori was an international corporate attorney in New York at Leavy Rosensweig & Hyman, where she represented clients in the cable television, Internet and telecommunications industries, and at Coudert Brothers, where she counselled clients in Europe and Asia in relation to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing and trade matters. Lori also served as a Legal Officer with the United Nations, and began her career as a Trial Attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Lori received a B.S. degree with majors in Political Science (concentration in international affairs) and Psychology from Tulane University (Newcomb College), and her J.D. degree from Columbia University School of Law.
