In January 2008, Sabrina Martucci Johnson was appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Cypress Bioscience, Incorporated. Prior to this appointment, she served as the company's Chief Business Officer. Ms. Johnson joined the Company in August of 1998 and has held various positions including Vice President of Marketing. Johnson previously held marketing and sales positions with Advanced Tissue Sciences and Clonetics. Ms. Johnson has an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) and a MSc. in Biochemical Engineering from the University of London, and a BSc. in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University. Johnson began her career in the biotechnology industry as a research scientist with Baxter Healthcare. In addition to serving on the School of Science and Engineering Board of Advisors, Mrs. Johnson serves on the Audit Committee of Project Concern International.
